Every November, auto manufacturers reveal their new models for the forthcoming year. New designs, redesigns, of classic models, and tweaks to existing designs are all over auto convention floors in the US. We took a look at some of the most anticipated new models and let us tell you, is slated to be a great year in the world of automobiles.
This year, mainstay manufacturers like Cadillac, Ford, Hyundai, and Mercedes all bring something new to the table, including new sport, luxury, and convertible models. Here are some of our favorite new cars coming out in 2020 .

Starting off first is the new model of the two-seated sports car first release in 1996. The new Supra is built in a partnership with BMW and the design is based on BMW's Z4 roadster. The sharp angles and dramatic curves give it a unique sporty design that looks as great in person as it does in pictures.
It’s not just good looking either. The new Supra will come with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo 335 hp 6-cylinder engine that can put out up to 365 lb-ft of torque. Toyota claims the car can go 0-60 mph in just 4.1 seconds and top speed is 155 mph. Power is run through an 8-speed transmission and the car is rear-wheel drive. The new Supra has a more balanced 50:50 weight distribution which makes it great for taking those tight curves that sports cars are known for. Normal and Sport driving modes let you reduce the action of the traction sensing system, giving the throttle more kick. The new Supra is EPA-rated at 26 mpg, with a 24 mpg in the city and 31 highway.
2. 2020 Cadillac XT6

Up next is this all-new model from Cadillac. The XT6 is part of the first generation of new cars set to be rolled out in 2020 and it paints a very positive picture of what is to come. This pleasant mid-size luxury SUV comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 310 hp, a 9-speed auto transmission, and all-wheel drive. The drawing feature of the Cadillac XT6 is its tech features which are integrated seamlessly with the design. Included in the interior is a touch screen for making calls and controlling the car’s climate system. The interior is large enough to easily fit a family of 5 with room to spare.
The exterior is not much to look at but the large angled frame gives it great stability and handling. Even though it is large, it is pretty maneuverable and handles equally well on all major types of surfaces.
3. 2020 Hyundai Palisade

Coming in at third is this new 3-row SUV from Hyundai. Even though it is classified as “mid-sized” the new Palisade is bigger than any SUV Hyundai has made before and is on par with the Highlander or Explorer. The Palisade is run by a 3.8 V6 engine paired to an 8-speed transmission that can put out 291 hp and 262 lb-ft of torque. The base front-wheel-drive makes the car incredibly smooth, and the throttle is unfussy and responsive.
While maybe not as strong as a Ford, the Palisade has a decent tow strength up to 5,000 pounds. It et’s 24 highways and 19 city mpg; not great overall but good for a vehicle of its class. Overall, if you need a tough and safe car for transporting the family, check out the Hyundai Palisade.
4. Kia Soul

The compact multi-purpose vehicle is a redesign of Kia’s trademark Soul model hatchbacks. The new Soul improves upon last year’s model’s engine by upgrading to a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine run through a 6-speed transmission that can put out 147 hp, an engine shared with the Kia Forte and Hyundai Kona. While not incredibly powerful, the Soul does great at what it’s designed for; a fun responsive hatchback that has elements of sportiness to it.
The real draw of the new Kia Soul is the comprehensive infotainment system. The stock audio system is very good and is automatically compatible with both Apple and Android devices. A 7-in. touchscreen in the center panel controls the system along with climate control. According to many surveys, the hands-free compatibility of the Kia Soul is one of its major strengths and the new model has preserved that.
5. Tesla Roadster

This list would not be complete without a Tesla. The new Tesla Roadster is set to be the standard-bearer for luxury-brand electric cars. The new Roadster is set to be one of the fastest cars on the market, with a 0-60 mph time of a blazingly fast 1.9 seconds and a top speed of 250 mph. The insanely powerful electric motor can produce up to 10,000 newton-meters of torque which lets it achieve quarter-mile distance in just 8 seconds. According to Elon Musk, the Roadster is supposed to be the first in a new product line known as the “plaid powertrain.”
The coolest part of the Roadster is the SpaceX options packet that adds 10 small rocket thrusters around the car and under the license plate. These thrusters will add better braking, acceleration, and handling. Musk himself said the car might be ready for a hover test as early as the end of next year.
Conclusions
So there you have it, 5 of the top cars set to be released in 2020 . These are just a small selection of what’s to come which may make 202 one of the best years for auto manufacturers in recent history.
