The year 2021 is an exciting one for blue oval releases, with exciting new models to compete across all vehicle sectors. This year, Ford expands its portfolio to hybrid and electric cars to rival international industry leaders. The company also offers considerable upgrades to its existing trademark models in everything from cars, trucks, and SUVs to suit any purpose and any budget. Here are the top five Ford cars from this year’s lineup.
1. Ford Expedition
The Expedition is the Ford SUV of choice for families, with space for eight passengers and plenty of luggage, and it comes with a decent towing capacity at around 9,300 lbs. Powered by a 375 hp twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the 10-speed automatic transmission provides quick acceleration and a smooth ride with agile steering.
The Ford Expedition 2021 XTL model comes equipped with the SYNC 4 infotainment system with 8” touchscreen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto and is also available as a two-row-only XL STX model. In addition, it adds Ford’s CoPilot 360 safety suite, which comprises automatic headlights, a Blind Spot Information System (BLIS), automatic emergency braking, cross-traffic alert, and pre-collision assistance, including pedestrian detection and a backup camera.
2. Ford Bronco
The new 2021 Ford Bronco 4x4 is the most anticipated release from Ford in years, both clearly playing on nostalgia and specifically targeting the fanbase of off-road SUV segment leader Jeep Wrangler. The 2021 Bronco is sold with its classic 2-door design, along with a first-ever 4-door design, plus distinguishable trims giving it both utility and considerable presence. Also available as a hybrid Ecoboost, the Bronco’s standard engine is a 2.3L turbo I-4 rated at 275 hp and 315 lb.-ft. of torque on regular fuel, or 300 hp and 325 lb.-ft. on premium. The 2.7L twin-turbo V6 offers more power, rated at 315 hp and 410 lb.-ft. on regular fuel, or 330 hp and 415 lb.-ft. on premium.

The 2021 Ford Mustang GT Coupe sports car has a powerful Coyote 5.0L V8 engine configuration producing 460 hp and 420 lb.-ft. of torque to provide affordable sports driving thrills starting at $36,120. The Ford Mustang GT Coupe is also equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and a specially calibrated 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission available as an option.
The Mustang GT Coupe incorporates the Ford CoPilot 360 bundle of safety equipment, which includes automatic high-beam headlights, the BLIS system, and cross-traffic alert. 4. Ford Mustang Mach 1
The Ford Mustang Mach 1 represents the 4th generation of the Mach 1, first seen in 1969 and returning to the market for the first time in 17 years. Inspired by the original model and ranking between the Ford Mustang GT and the Ford Shelby in performance and popularity, it is similar to the GT, in that its 5.0L V8 engine packs 480hp with 420 lb.-ft. on regular fuel, but it pulls 20 ponies more than a standard Mustang GT due to its revised intake manifold, engine oil cooler, and oil filter adapter. The Ford Mustang Mach 1 is also equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and a specially calibrated 10-speed SelectShift. In addition, its optimized front splitter and new rear spoiler improve downforce by 22%.

5. Ford 150 Raptor
The new Ford 150 Raptor, released in the fall of 2020, is the 14th generation of the best-selling pickup truck in the U.S. As such, it doesn’t look too different from the usual model — the recognizable high strength steel frame and military-grade aluminum cap remain a prominent part of the design — but 92% of the Ford 150’s components are new. The new Ford 150 Raptor is available across a range of six powertrains, including one diesel, four gasoline, and the model’s first hybrid, the EcoBoost, which pairs a 3.5L V6 with a 470 hp electric motor and a 1.5kg battery pack, with all made for intense speed automatic transition.
The standard 290 hp V6 is an excellent all-around choice, while the 450 hp tops the range. Towing capacity, which can go up to 12,000 lbs., is enhanced with the 3.7L turbocharged V6 engine or the 3.5L EcoBoost V6. All models come with standard rear-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available as optional. The truck debuts a fresh interior with a 4th Generation SYNC 4 infotainment system, as well as Ford’s new Pro Power On Board Generator that employs the truck’s engine to generate power between 2.0-7.2 kW.
